Republic and democracy are not synonymous: they’re two totally different forms of government. In fact, democracy is antithetical to our Republic.
Our Founding Fathers had great disdain for democracy (democratic/mob rule) and hence, they gave us a Republic (rule by law) complete with a distinct Constitution (individual liberties). Ergo: We are a Constitutional Republic. Article IV, Section 4 – U.S. Constitution.
Communists only use our Constitution for two reasons…
To further their agenda or bail their miserable asses out the messes they’ve got themselves into. Otherwise, they’ve no use for our Constitution.
Edmund Randolph said, “. . . that in tracing these evils to their origin every man had found it in the turbulence and follies of democracy.”
John Adams said, “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There was never a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”
Ben Franklin said: A Republic ma’am…if you can keep it.
As our Republic (rule by law) dies and is replaced with democracy (mob rule), so goes our Constitution (individual liberties) — Because individual liberties do not and can not exist in democracy and… democracy is merely a gateway to oligarchy.
“They went from a Republic to a democracy to an oligarchy under a progression of the Caesars”. – John Birch Society
For decades communists have infiltrated our government from the presidency on down and have worked diligently to destroy our Republic: Obama and Fellow Travelers have removed all but the last pillars.
“But between a balanced Republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”
— John Marshall (1755-
“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
— James Madison (1751-
“We are a Republic. Real Liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of Democracy.”
— Alexander Hamilton (1755-
“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy. It is not true, in fact, and nowhere appears in history. Those passions are the same in all men, under all forms of simple government, and when unchecked, produce the same effects of fraud, violence, and cruelty. When clear prospects are opened before vanity, pride, avarice, or ambition, for their easy gratification, it is hard for the most considerate philosophers and the most conscientious moralists to resist the temptation. Individuals have conquered themselves. Nations and large bodies of men, never.”
— John Adams (1797-
Though we’ve not been governed as a ‘Constitutional (individual liberties) Republic (rule by law)’ for over 150 years at least, we are founded as one. Article 4 – Section 4, of the U.S. Constitution. Any American that promotes ‘democracy’ – (that would be all democrats) and many folks with R after their name, is an ‘enemy to our Republic’.
Save our Republic! Or lose your liberties.
