More proof there are no ‘innocent’ Iraqis and what our soldiers are dealing with daily. Excellent job chasing the fuckers down and killing em!

Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress, has announced that he will not take his oath of office on the Bible, but on the Quran instead.

The 43-year-old Minnesota Democrat, who converted to Islam as a 19-year-old college student, won the midterm election after a campaign calling for an immediate American pullout from Iraq. And his decision to forsake the Bible at his January 3 swearing-in troubles some.

"He should not be allowed to do so,” contributing columnist Dennis Prager writes on the Web site.

"Ellison’s defenders argue that Ellison is merely being honest; since he believes in the Quran and not in the Bible, he should be allowed, even encouraged, to put his hand on the book he believes in . . .

"Forgive me, but America should not give a hoot what Keith Ellison’s favorite book is. Insofar as a member of Congress taking an oath to serve America and uphold its values is concerned, America is interested in only one book, the Bible. If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don’t serve in Congress.

"In your personal life, we will fight for your right to prefer any other book. We will even fight for your right to publish cartoons mocking our Bible. But, Mr. Ellison, America, not you, decides on what book its public servants take their oath.”

Prager, a radio talk show host and author, concludes: "When all elected officials take their oaths of office with their hands on the very same book, they all affirm that some unifying value system underlies American civilization. If Keith Ellison is allowed to change that, he will be doing more damage to the unity of America and to the value system that has formed this country than the terrorists of 9/11.

"It is hard to believe that this is the legacy most Muslim Americans want to bequeath to America.”

Oh the irony! Christians, who insisted that religion and government meld, are now faced with a Muslim attempting to meld his religious beliefs with his government job; Paybacks are hell!

Will Christians now demand an amendment to the Bill Of Rights that says you may only swear on the Bible?

By the way Prager you prick, should the sacrifices of godless military men and women who swore their allegiance to the United States and not to the ‘Christian” god, be any less? How about the Muslims in the military? Being a U.S. soldier is a government job.

[Raghead] Dr Harith AlDhari accused current
Iraqi regime for being sectarian
and placed the responsibility for
the chaos upon its shoulders along with
the occupation for these hideous and
despicable indiscriminate crimes against
the ordinary and innocent people of Iraq [who cannot wipe their own asses]

The rising sectarian bombings that have engulfed Iraq in the past few days are evidence that Iraq has sunk deeper into the ugliest civil war which cannot be brought to a halt with whatever means being adopted by the current rulers of Iraq at the moment. It is also absolutely clear that the current “Iraqi government” which was allegedly “democratically elected” under occupation is unable to provide the most basic form of security to the people it was supposed to be representing, nor do the US forces of occupation along with their allies and mercenaries all of whom are fundamentally responsible for Iraqi security as an occupation power.

[more, someone wipe my ass for me]

Coroner’s office says 31/2-week-old girl died of burns from microwave

DAYTON — A 26-year-old mother was arrested Monday by Dayton police in the homicide of her 3½-week-old daughter, Paris Talley, on Aug. 30, 2005, a death officials said they believe was caused when the child was burned in a microwave oven.

China Arnold was picked up at her house, 3612 E. Second St., about 2:30 p.m. on a warrant for a charge of aggravated murder, Sgt. Gary White said. Arnold was taken to the Montgomery County Jail. The warrant was issued last week.

Ken Betz, director of the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, said, "We have reason to believe and scientific evidence to support that a microwave oven might have been involved in the death of this child." The cause of death was ruled a homicide at the time, by hyperthermia due to thermal injury.

The baby’s death was only the second on record in the nation believed caused by microwave oven. A 20-year-old Virginia mother was convicted of involuntary manslaughter on Sept. 26, 2000, in the death of her 5-week-old son.

"That’s what made this case so difficult," Betz said. "We’re in an area where there’s not a lot of scientific research on the effect of microwave on human beings."

Additional evidence recently came to light that helped prosecutors approve the arrest warrant, he said. "There were no external signs, like scalding water."

White said the mother had custody at the time of Paris’ death. When Arnold brought her to Children’s Medical Center on Aug. 30, 2005, "the baby was dead. The investigation commenced at that point," he said.

"The police department is satisfied we’ve helped bring some justice so far to Paris’ homicide," White said.

What we know about the mother and father of the infant Paris Talley:

The mother has three other children by different men

The mother has a criminal history

The mother and father had been out drinking prior to the father finding the child dead

The mother claims she doesn’t remember anything after she returned home from drinking

The mother didn’t bother to check on her 28 days old baby when she returned home from drinking, though she claims she doesn’t remember anything when she did return home

The father has a criminal history

Possible scenarios:

The father who most likely has other children didn’t want to be strapped financially with another child; assuming the father actually did financially support the child/his children. Highly doubtful the criminal father did much besides produce unwanted children and commit crimes.

The mother having three children already didn’t want to be strapped with another child.

Regardless of why, whoever did this diabolical act must be removed from society forever.

Being held hostage in Iraq can catapult a gal from a pedestrian UMass pedigree to the hallowed halls of Harvard. But it also apparently makes one rather full of oneself!
So there was Jill Carroll, the Christian Science Monitor freelancer who spent 82 days as a hostage in Baghdad, popping into Shays in Harvard Square.

Jill, a University of Massachusetts Amherst grad who is a fellow this semester at Harvard’s Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy, was recognized by a FOX25 assignment editor who was hanging in the pub with pals.

The intrepid editor went over to Jill, introduced himself and attempted to chat her up.
“She had come in with her salon of friends, and they were all talking their Harvard talk,” said Someone Who Was There. “But it’s a very open place, where everyone’s standing close together or sitting with each other, so people just feel free to talk to everyone.”

Carroll seemed OK with the chit-chat until the editor inquired what she was up to post-hostage crisis.
    “I’m a fellow,” she huffed.

OK, our hero replied, then he asked whether she would be interested in doing an interview with Channel 25 to catch viewers up on her current situation. Which didn’t exactly sit too well with the former reporter.
“No,” said Jill rather snootily, “I’m not doing any press.”
Hence, we assume, Jill’s failure to RSVP to our e-mail query about the matter.

The Noxious/anti-U.S. military Dominican sisters, Ardeth Platte, 70, Carol Gilbert, 59, and Jackie Hudson, 72, attempted to pay a restitution fee via delivering canned goods to a court house. In their typical mocking manner they claimed the canned goods were for the very people they despise; military families.

Under the guise of helping military families the noxious Nuns pulled this publicity stunt:

When they arrived at Brown’s office, they delivered cans of food, and, as with every aspect of their lives, their choices were rich with symbolism. Hudson brought pork and beans to represent the pork-barrel nature of the military-industrial complex, and a can of corn "because this case has been so corny from the beginning." Platte delivered canned clams – saying the American people have "clammed up long enough. It’s time to speak truth to power" – and a tin of beef stew. "With the massive numbers of people who have been killed in this war, I don’t want to stew over this any longer." Gilbert selected sweet peas – "To give peas a chance" – and cream of mushroom soup, representing the radiation cloud from a nuclear bomb, a weapon that has been used by only one country in the world, she said – the U.S. The sisters put the word out about the food drive via the Internet, enlisting help from around the world. The way they calculate it, they would need about 4,000 cans of food to fulfill the required restitution.

Many people excuse the noxious Nuns because they are Nuns; with the notion of what possible harm can a few elderly Nuns do? Check out just a few of the groups these vile three work with: Not In Our Name /War Resisters League /United For Peace And Justice to understand what they have done and given the opportunity will do again.

Like any Marxist, these Nuns are not against war, they’re against the U.S. Military Industrial Complex. They’re anti-U.S. military…period! The Marxist mantra is this: The U.S. soldier is evil and the death of evil (the U. S. soldier) is good.

Noxious Nuns:

Catholic nuns Ardeth Platte, left, Carol Gilbert and Jackie Hudson were arrested at gunpoint Oct. 6, 2002 after they used bolt cutters to enter a fenced Minuteman missile site in Weld County. They poured some of their own blood in the shape of crosses on the lid of the missile silo.

The noxious Nuns work with these kommie ass klowns:

Dressed as clowns Reverend Carl Kabat, OMI, Gregory Boertje-Obed, and Michael Walli
entered the E-9 missile silo on the Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara Nation in
North Dakota about 75 miles southwest of Minot. Using a sledgehammer and
household hammers, they disabled the lock on the personnel entry hatch
that provides access to the warhead and they hammered on the silo lid
that covers the 300 kiloton nuclear warhead that is targeted and ready
to launch. The activists painted DISARM on the face of the 110-ton
hardened silo cover and the peace activists poured their blood on the
missile lid.

Her book is titled, simply, "U.S. v. George W. Bush et al". It will be published in December by Seven Stories Press. is currently taking orders for the book.

Why did Ms. de la Vega write this book? "The president will not be held accountable for misrepresenting the prewar intelligence unless and until Congress conducts hearings similar to the Watergate hearings," she told IPS. "As yet, however, we seem painfully incapable of reaching that point."

"Although the evidence of wrongdoing is overwhelming, the facts are so complicated that it’s impossible to have a productive debate about them in the political sphere," she said. "One forum where that’s not true is the courtroom."

Does she believe that her book will lead to making her hypothetical case real?

She writes, "Consider this my 911 [emergency] call. I’m calling on Democrats and Republicans to do the right thing… and convince Congress to do the right thing. I am not talking about bringing people to justice in the vengeful sense that President Bush employs. I am talking about effecting justice… holding out highest government officials accountable for… a criminal betrayal of trust that is strikingly similar to, yet far worse, than the fraud committed by Enron’s top officials."

She told IPS, "Many of the victims of the president’s fraud — millions of Iraqis — have no voice in the United States, but the millions of Americans who were deceived by the president’s fraud do have a voice. We should use it, loudly and repeatedly, to pressure Congress into holding the president, the vice president and their top-level aides accountable for tricking the nation into war."  [more kommie ass klown bullshit]

Via The New York Slimes:

A senior American intelligence official said Monday that the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah had been training members of the Mahdi Army, the Iraqi Shiite militia led by Moktada al-Sadr.

The official said that 1,000 to 2,000 fighters from the Mahdi Army and other Shiite militias had been trained by Hezbollah in Lebanon. A small number of Hezbollah operatives have also visited Iraq to help with training, the official said.

Iran has facilitated the link between Hezbollah and the Shiite militias in Iraq, the official said. Syrian officials have also cooperated, though there is debate about whether it has the blessing of the senior leaders in Syria. [more]
